We are particularly looking to recruit:

Experienced PHP Web Developer - PHP (MVC), MySQL, jQuery

• - Location: Wimborne, nr. Bournemouth and Poole, Dorset
• - Salary: up to £30k including benefits
• - Job Type: permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced PHP developer to join our dynamic and friendly team where you will have the opportunity to further your skills.

A minimum of two years previous hands-on development and design experience would be ideal, with an in depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. As a PHP developer an understanding of modern coding conventions such as OOP, MVC and Frameworks is expected, as is a proven ability to build bespoke applications from start to finish. You will be writing well structured, reusable, modular, annotated code and implementing open source or prewritten products and source code libraries. Projects will be carried out to a high specification with consideration given to security and performance.

Required core skills/experience:

• - Experience of using PHP for development in a range of projects
• - MVC frameworks
• - MySQL & database management
• - Experience in implementing and customising jQuery

Desired additional skills/experience:

• - Version control
• - Linux server administration

A successful candidate will be responsible for self-managing their workload and maintaining monthly maintenance budgets, alongside one off development projects, which will require accurate timescales to manage workload accordingly. Also the candidate will work with a team, individually and with clients so good communication and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients is essential.

We are offering up to £30,000 (depending on experience).
