Business Development Manager – Web development company

Freshleaf Media has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join its team and make a real difference to the growth and future of the company. We are a small but growing web development company with a clear focus on excellence, expertise and ethical integrity. Our speciality is in the development of corporate websites for B2B high-tech electronics and engineering customers internationally.

Objective: Your goal will be to increase our sales by at least 30% year-on-year

You will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the entire new business process from identifying opportunities through to closing sales. Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating high-value sales with B2B corporate customers
• Identifying and generating new business opportunities
• Making sales calls to new and existing clients
• Networking at seminars and industry events
• Organising, producing and conducting pitches and presentations
• Writing winning proposals
• Speaking at industry events
• Managing supporting marketing activities
• Reviewing and contributing to tender responses and proposals

You must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of web technologies and their benefits in business. You will have a proven track record of business development or sales ideally in relation to web development or digital marketing and design. You will have strong writing skills and be able to produce persuasive proposal documents.
